Recently Mount Dimats has become one of the most popular destinations in Armenia due to the stunning views, which are breathtaking and full of unforgettable emotions. We will move from Yerevan to the monastery of Haghartsin and start our hike to Mount Dimats. At the beginning of the hike, we will see the waterfall in the forests of Dilijan.

1. Hidden Waterfall

It is a waterfall on the territory of Dilijan National Park in Tavush region. The waterfall got its name because of its remote location. A trail which leads to Hidden Waterfall passes through a dense forest.  Compared to other waterfalls Hidden Waterfall is less. The water flow falls from a height of approximately 2.5 m.

2.Mount Dimats

Ijevan mountains stand out for their unique landscapes. Mount Dimats (2378 m) is situated on the territory of Dilijan National Park and is one of the highest points of the Ijevan mountain range. From the top opens a stunning view of the rocky walls of the Ijevan mountains.

  • Hiking duration: 5 hours
  • Distance: 17 km
  • Difficulty level: moderate
  • The best hiking period –  from March to November
  • You will be guided by most skilful instructor, whose services are foreseen for a group consisted of up to 10 people. In case of more participants extra sum is to be charged
  • Recommended items in your hiking checklist: hiking boots or shoes, hiking backpack, wear-resistant socks for walking long distances, windproof jacket, fleece jacket, trekking poles, sсunglasses with a factor of at least 3, sunscreen SPF50, headgear, breathable light trousers, long sleeves T-shirt, thin fleece gloves, first-aid kit. The list can be shortened or supplemented based on personal experience
  • The possibility of arranging hiking depends on weather conditions
